Spring Break
This spring break is going to be better than any that I've ever had so far. This year I'm going on a mission trip with some good friends from church down to an orphanage in Mexico. When you here the words "mission trip" you usually think of work and no fun. Well mine is going to involve 4 days of hard work but then we get 2 days off in California.
The orphanage we are going to is called Colina De Luz. Which in english translates to hill of light. The orphanage is more like a compound if you would. It is gated and safe. On the inside it's one of the nicest places in Mexico. There is like 60 some kids and they have basketball courts, soccer field, and a huge playscape.
The guy that founded the orphanage is a man named Jim Drake. He made good money working in California then took all his money and made the orphanage.
After we work for 4 days at the orphanage we make our way back to San Diego and spend 1 or 2 nights in Humphrey's Half Moon Inn. By the sound of the name it seems like a dump but in fact it is the exact opposite. It is right down town and on a marina so we get a great view of the ocean. During one day we are there, me make our way to sea world. Last year they went to the zoo so this year we have to go to sea world. A funny story from last year (even though I didn't go), my friend Matt Gran split up with some of the group to grab some lunch, then they were going to meet at the polar bears. I guess the Polar bears are in the back of the park and the group ditched my friend so he ended up staying with a senior girl from my church for the rest of the day.

Fox Creek
Today is March 27 and one of my favorite courses opens today. That is Fox Creek located on 7 mile road. There are several reasons why I like this course so much.
1) It's very close to my house. It's a short drive away, but if i go to my friend Ryan's house with my clubs we could just walk because he lives across the street.
2)The price is good. When you go on a Junior day between some certain times you can play 9 holes for like 7 bucks or play 18 for 13$.
3) The holes are very different from eachother. The classic whole is number 7. It is about a 400 yard hole but if you play it a certain way it can be like a 300 yard hole. What is so unique about the hole is that it is a 90 degree dog leg to the right. If you take a 3 wood or 2 hybrid and hit it right over a couple of trees it leaves you with around a 90 yard shot into the green.
4) They have a restaraunt. The restraunt is called George Murphy's and it is definately one of my favorite places to go eat. My favorite thing their is the pizza. It is like the biggest most amazing pizza ever.
A funny story about there. My friends dad moved to livonia and decides to go play their. When he got to a certain whole he went through a gate that connects it to Whispering Willows. So he played whispering willows ( all 18 wholes) and he played all of fox creek, but he played willows on accident but it was still free golf.

Mega Man

Mega Man
Those who have played the N.E.S. know how good some of the games are. The Mega Man series is no exception. You can buy them for the Nintendo, but for like 8 bucks you can buy the anniversary collection which has 1 through 8 on one disk.
The way that the game roles is you are a little blue guy in a digital world and you go around shooting enemies. You go through levels and at the end of each level you play a boss, where most of them are riduclously hard. On one I spent like an hour just trying to beat him.
The series is known for being extremely hard and the newest one Mega Man 9 is without a daught one of the hardest. You can't buy it on a disk but you can buy it on the Wii Shop Channel, Xbox Live Arcade, or playstation network. I hate the one for wii because you can only use the wii remote and the d-pad is so small that he is hard to control.
My Favorite game of the series that i've played so far would have to be the fourth one because that is the one of gotten the farthest in. If you start to play this game you will get so addicted. I've beaten like 3 of the 8 bosses and got some of the coolest weopons. When I beat one of the bosses named skull man, I got a shield that protects you from any thing.
The worst one is megaman 8. You can see the bad in it right from the title screen. The voice is and extremely high pitched voice that screams Mega Man 8. The worst part of the game is all of the freaking glitches. Like you would be going to shoot and enemy and the next thing you know the game would freeze. Another god awful addition is all of the delays. You go and press the shoot button and it takes like 3 seconds for it to shoot.

PIstons
We all thought when Chauncey was traded to the nuggets that Allen Iverson would either make the team better or we would still be at a playoff level. But boy was everyone wrong. Lately the Pistons have dropped 16 of their last 21. For those non-basket ball fans that means we have only won five of our last 21 games.
Allen Iverson ruins what the Pistons have had for the past 5 or so years. We had 5 role players that would do what they had to do in order to win ball games. Now they have Allen Iverson with a good supporting cast that he chooses to leave behind. Rip Hamilton went from 25 points a game to under 15 a game. Their record is around.500 all because of A.I.
Them making the playoffs is questionable but, in my opinion they will make it for sure. I mean they have been to 6 straight eastern conference finals. If they didn't make the playoffs then it would be a tragedy for all Piston fans.

Pete Dorr
This guy is in my opinion a loser but yet he is pretty amazing at the same time. He's a loser for just the fact that he is a grown man that just plays video games but he's sweet for the same exact reason.
He has a youtube account and he has a video for just about every single video game. I recently discovered his videos and noticed a couple of things. The first thing i noticed is that all of the videos are aroung ten minutes long. The second thing is that he doesn't have many views but the people that do watch his videos are all subscribers.
The video I watched recently is a tour of his room. I would have to say that it blew me away with how much video gaming stuff he has. The first thing I saw was the shelves and shelves of video games. Some in boxes some just lying around loose. Another thing i thought was pretty sick is the 3 or 4 store signs he has. Like the ones that light up and have the name of the console by them. I thought that they were pretty sweet.
Another feature of his room is the collectibles he has. The majority of them being sonic and mario because he is obsessed with them but there are a few other characters. In a corner of his room he has a five foot tall sonic stuffed animal. Personally I don't know who would make it and let alone have somebody buy it but, it's still pretty sweet.

Best Xbox 360 Games continued

Call of Duty 4 and World at War
These would probably the most popular games on 360 and even on Playstation 3. My friends play countless hours on these games. I even know a 10 year old who brived his parents into letting him get number four.
The most common use for these games are online game play. Call of Duty 4: modern warfare was the game of the year 2007. If you are going to buy one get world at war because the people that still play it are absolutely amazing and it will make the call of duty expierence dreadful. Part of the online expierence is leveling up and getting better guns. This weekend is double points weekend so every time you get a kill you get double the points allowing you to level up twice as fast.
Personally I've never played the campaign mode in 4 but i've played co-op mode in world at war. Once you beat number 5 you get the nazi zombie mode which is absolutely beast. You will try to beat it which there is no end to but it is just so much fun.
Here is a link of another list:
if you think their is more games to be added please say so
